Longhirst Village was initially part of a village estate that served Longhirst Hall, a Grade II listed building built in 1824 by architect John Dobson.
The name Longhirst means, 'Long Wooded Hill'.

At Longhirst Spirits, we are passionate about crafting the finest spirits inspired by our beautiful home and family.
Longhirst Gin is our first product and was created and founded in the Northumbrian village of Longhirst. Surrounded by green velvet fields and natural woodland, our flavours were discovered right here!

Each bottle at Longhirst Spirits is lovingly crafted and influenced by botanicals grown organically on our own land. We believe in the provision of mother nature and aim to create exceptional flavours that pay homage to her and our heritage.
To ensure each bottle is unique and one of a kind, our wax labels are hand crafted and applied by us personally.

We are a blended family with 3 out of 5 neurodiverse children. Our journey began with the intention of providing security and success for our children whom may otherwise have difficulty finding opportunities in today's society.
